Longest shot on a called coyote to date, 325 yards with a 3-9x40 scope and no rangefinder before the shot...that 22-243 shooting a 55 gr Berger Varmint bullet at 3850 fps does help a bit 😁
Got this one this afternoon about 1:30 PM. Came charging in down the road I was sitting off of looking over a field of weeds. He was literally 15ft away from me when he flew by. Only had time to flip the safety and point and pop him. Didn't have time to shoulder the rifle or even try to aim. Flipped 3 times when the 60 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint hit him. Circled my tripod and gun to show how close he was.

I've done the ol' Texas heart shot more than one time. When they on the out bound train ya don't have much choice [emoji16]

One from yesterday morning & one from this morning. Yesterday was the 25-06 with 75 grain v-max and today was the 22-243 with the 75 grain ELD-M. About 185 yards[emoji16]
