I load a lot of magnum revolver cartridges, but no practical experience with the .460. This I a “just what I would do” comment, so take it for what it is. I looked on line looking at different brands of .460 ammo, and what I noticed was that they all looked like the bullet was seated to where the second cannelure (closest to the tip) is on your bullet. If it were me, I would load to the cannelure that gives me the shorter OAL, and start my powder charge low and work up.
