Why does some of my brass have a ring around the shoulder? This range brass. I bought 1k pcs of range brass from wes and about 50 or so look like this. I tried to resize but to much pressure. Afraid of getting stuck in die.

Could be from a poorly milled chamber or a piece of brass (a ring) from deburring stuck in the chamber.Originally Posted by Mizzouri1
