I've got a funny suspicion we have the same barrel. I did a bit of shooting yesterday for ladders and that was one of the barrels I was working on. Didn't have much success until I did my last full max listed load for some Hornady 50 grain Vmax and you can guess where I picked those up from. It was a 3 shot ladder and it came together with 28.5 grains of CFE223 and COL 2.24. Load at your own risk but that was a listed max load on one of the loading charts. Others show less. I loaded 5 this morning and will try to confirm the load but I'm guessing it will be weeks before I can get back out. I've been out shooting for 3 days, leaving on Friday to go duck hunting and have not worked around the house the last 3 days off and I think for the sake of my marriage I may need to.
