More than once, I've sat at my bench, having shot my ammo, and am prepared to leave, when the "squad" of AR shooters next to me is only half-way through their case of new PMC ammo boxes, leaving every single piece of brass on the ground. When this happens, I will stay the extra hour or two it takes for them to shoot all their ammo and leave, and sweep it all up for myself.
