I've been loading an 87 grain VMAX for my 243, with great success. I recently purchased a RAP, in 17 HMR. . I absolutely love it? Even though I can't reload for it, LOL. But it got me to thinking about doing a 58 grain V-Max for my 243. Does anyone do this load? If so, can I get some feedback? Thank you everyone.

I did them out of a 6mm Remington, and 240 weatherby. For awhile. They were exceptional on prairie dogs out to 500 yards or so. Heavier bullets were superior past that.
