    I cast 325gr .45 colt. Makes a great deer load for my rifle and pistol.

    I've never powdercoated bullets nor do I know anything about it. Does it eleminate the need for a gas check.

    Its a Lyman. It was the only place i could find one.

    Yes. Each layer of coating enlarges the slug a few thousandths and with practice you can almost dial in the thickness. And the coating includes the base-recovered slugs still have coating on the base so there's no melting of lead.

    What would be a good BHN for 148gn 38/357 wad cuters or semi wad cutters. Will be loading the old bullseye like 2.6-2.8 grns.

    Lyman #2 alloy 15-18 could go less with that load that's light
