If you shoot factory ammo that is true. If you reload you can take advantage of the longer barrel for more gains. I honestly haven't myself, but IME you definitely could. That being said if you are going to suppress it then you wouldn't bother. One other aspect is feel for training. The carbine is a cheap way to train with a rifle. But, if you add a suppressor to a pistol and a good brace it will handle like a rifle also.
I love the scorpion. Just for the reason it’s small. The carbine would be fun at the range.

Ok, guys. This thread was the last straw, lol. I have been eyeing the Scorpion for a while and I went and ordered one today at my lgs. Who can point me to some resources as to what I can and can't put on it as far as a brace and a grip up front?
I went through manufacturer transfer. You take your scorpion to them. They instal the grip and transfer it back to you. Cz is semi local to me. So I went through them for info. Best bet without internet advise is to go to a suppressor shop or dealer and ask them

You can put any race on it you want. But from how I understand is the adapter to put a ar buffer cz a folder is measured different. If you ordered the pistol hit me up. I have the adapter for a buffertube sitting on my shelf I’ll sell you
