My 9mm is a Ruger SR9c and she does not care for it.

She wants semi auto with enough power to pack a punch but small enough to easily conceal.

My S&W M&P Compact 2.0 is a great pistol. With some Hornady Critical Duty or Critical Defense you'd be well off. Or a self defense hand load.
