So I'm looking for some input in regards to these two powder measures.
I plan to use it to load 223 using ball powder.
I've heard that the auto drum is a great powder thrower.
Only reason I'm considering the double disc is because I currently have a single disc measure that I've used for pistol and had no problems with it.
Anyone out there use a double disc and just love it or should I do ahead and go for the autodrum?

I have used both for 223 and other calibers. Both units tend to leak. Both units throw fairly consistently. I have 4 Auto Disks with one set up for double disks and two Auto drums. The smaller grained powders tend to leak more than the bulkier flake powders. I also have a Lymans #55 that never leaks and throws an accurate load time after time. My two cents is since both Lee units are inexpensive try the Auto Drum.
I'll add that with a little bit of tweaking I have used one Lee adjustable disk with a fixed disk in my double. It's handy for those in between loads.
