    That's definitely moving! I can't remember what my magnum loads chronographed at. It seems they were around 1400fps. Like you my light stuff is around 800fps. If the weather permits I'll take my chrono with next time I shoot and see what the fps is for these hot loads.

    Any of you guys got a favorite powder for 180 gen. Hornady XTP's? I been reloading 158's. Pistol is a GP 100 4 inch

    I like IMR4227 an AA#9 for my 180gr xtp loads.

    I've had great success with AA#9 for the 158gr XTP's, should work just as well for 180's.
