Most,if not all brakes that actually work,and work good,are not the cool looking ones. IMO the two that are the very best are the JP Recoil Eliminator and the Precision Armament M4-72.
I have both . . . they are loud . . . BUT THEY WORK. --- SAWMAN
ADDED: Your rifle will need to be threaded 5/8X24.
What SAWMAN said. Loud!!! Mine is a lot worse if not directly behind the rifle. I'm investing in the electronic ear protection that goes in your ear. I have electronic muffs but don't like them for hunting.

When I shot my deer this year my buddy was to my left about 10 feet and did not cover his ears. His ears were ringing for several hours after the shot.
