    Ammo storage

Gonna stock pile a lot of ammo in different calibers. Where’s the best place to get ammo cans?? Is plastic or metal better. Will be stored inside house. Thanks in advance

I use 30's, 50's, fat 50's, 20mm and the plastic almost 30's from MTM that come with a carrier. The MTM ones are convient when hitting tue range.

Academy usually has metal 50 cal cans on Black Friday sale for 10 bucks each. I've not confirmed they have them this year but they have for the passed many years. I've got a few dozen of them and think they are just as good as the mil-surp that I have. Amazon also has the plastic MTM 3 50 cal and 4 30 cal ammo can and crate deal right now. The 30 cal is $30.00 and the 50 cal is $34.99. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KIKX0DER&psc=1

Definitely get metal. Check your local Walmart. They sell them for $13 (regular price) around here. Had them marked down to $9 for a while.
