This isn't a reloading bench fault; it came from an indoor range. Lake City round. Chamber obstruction?

My guess would be a squib bullet.
Probly, but weak brass for it to fold in like that with just spring force?
I've seen several of these but nvr saw what created such a mess excepr at the press.

Could annealing the brass too far down be a contributing factor?
Hey, Eric! Yeah it's possible I guess, but if Lake City doesn't have annealing figured out by now, all is lost.
How long did it take to cut up and remove the wheels-up cement mixer?
Did the concrete set up?

They actually brought in two of the biggest wreckers I have ever seen and a big dozer. They tied the wreckers off to trees and pulled it up the hill and back onto its wheels. Pretty impressive how they did it in one try. They drug it up our driveway with the dozer. The concrete set up in the barrel and the motor was a total loss since it was running when it went over. I never did here if they rebuilt it or scrapped it. They had just spent a tone of money doing a complete rebuild two months before on the truck. Oops.
Love to have seen that. Right up there with building pyramids by hand.
