It seems pretty accurate, but I use it for weighing bullets only.
I believe that it came from Harbour Freight. It came with a 500gr check weight. --- SAWMAN
I've often wondered about the check weights myself. Hahaha

I just dug my Frankford Arsenal Scale out warmed them both up and calibrated them with their own 50 gram check weights. I then weighed the check weighs on each scale (RCBS comes with 2) and all 3 weighed exactly the same at 771.6 grains. To my surprise the FA scale measured several different calibers of bullets the same repeatably to +/- 0.1 grain and matched the RCBS scale. Makes me wonder if I was doing something wrong before (like not calibrating it right, or not letting it warm or) or maybe it just needed some time to break in or something.

Temperature does make a difference. Since my building has ac and heat i get them to room temp before i use them. No i don't leave the heat and ac on all the time.
