    Thinking i will just increase the load instead of swapping the spring. I reload 9mm typically halfway between min and max load per manufacturers recipe. Will cook up a batch that is closer to max when i get back to having time to reload.

    As was mentioned before in this thread, it is very possible that after a good "break in" period your spring will settle in and do better with the lighter loads. I certainly saw that with my Glock 19, my first semi handgun and my first experience with reloading for them.
