Today is “Opening Day” for most and the Michigan gun opener. The annual migration north for many to enjoy the deer camp and see friends they may only see once a year.
This will be the 30th year I’ll get to experience a sunrise while I wait with anticipation to see that one buck. Many of the bucks I’ve watched during bow season will make some hunters day and some will learn to be nocturnal real quick.
I’m hoping that all my hard work and range time developing my load for my 450 Bushmaster will pay off. Here’s to “Opening Day”.
