Sawman is dead on. BDC scopes when dialed in using Spot On Ballistic Program are very accurate. Obviously, the data you enter has to be correct which means getting your load chronographed and not believing what is on the box, measuring your scope height and entering environmental factors too. Some of my friends and I have blown up soda cans and 4-inch jars of tannerite at 600+ yards using Nikon's BDC scopes and Spot On. A scope suggestion for a black Friday purchase might be Nikon's new M-Tactical 3-12x42 SF MOA reticle. You can dial your distance or get the drops from Spot On. I have been doing freelance work with Nikon for almost 10 years now and it seems like this scope is one of the option's you guys have been asking for for a long time. Dialing in your handloads for holdovers is also quick and easy. I don't do any sales, just here to answer any question's or help you guys out if needed. Thanks!
