Thanks I’m very pleased with it and can’t put it down. It’s just so clear and the cross hairs are interesting but I can’t describe it just yet

Best of luck with that retical. Waaaaaaaay to "busy" for my likes. But then I'm old and greatly appreciate . . "simple".
Plan to go through some ammo (which is a good thing) to develope a dope sheet. Would also suggest that you sight in "ZERO" so that no notes are needed out to 2-250 or so.
That chambering will not shoot as flat as some you/we are used to shooting so way out younder you will need click ups.
For me - - -> I say . . "hold hair . . not air." If I cannot kill an animal by holding the top of his back,I do not shoot. But then, down here in Fla. is not like out west. Our shots are closer and mostly <200yds. Most all my deer/hog guns are sighted in .5" LOW & 50yds. Same with my nowadays go to gun . . 300BLK.
Please keep us informed on your gun build and scope sight in as it progresses. --- SAWMAN

I appreciate it and I’ll keep the build updated and when I’m able to get some range time! I’ve got some loads cooked up but they’re on standby for the time being. I may do a review on this scope and leave it open to anyone else who has used it just for content’s sake and maybe it’ll help the next guy

I've had just about every brand of scope you can name! Weaver, Nikon, Tasco, Bushnell, etc. To me it's about the clarity of the glass and the reticle (I'm a HUGE fan of MIL DOT scopes).
I have questions with coments:
How far will you be shooting? For example, In New Yuck State, the average deer is taken at 35 yards so a scope that's good out to 500 yards is not going to be a good investment but a good 2X6 30mm or 40 mm scope would be. However, if you're shooting at LONG ranges, a 2X18 (or 24) 40mm scope would be a good investment.
Is it for target shooting or hunting? Again, if you're hunting the average range that you'll be shooting game dictates the scope as does the size of the range where your matches ware held (and how far they shoot at those matches).
Member Holland had the best advice: go to a store where you can actually look through a scope. Field & Stream/Dicks, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro/Cabela's, local firearms shop. Price should not be a deciding factor but budget will be. I'd love to have a Leupold VX-6 scope ( https://www.opticsplanet.com/leupold...cds-scope.html ) or a Zeiss Victory ( https://www.opticsplanet.com/zeiss-v...flescopes.html ) but that ain't happenin' unless I hit the lottery! LOL
For now I’ll just be at about 100yds indoors testing. Nothing too crazy but I don’t max out my scopes at the range either. I zoom in to see groups or a shift in impact with different bullet weights, powders, and charges. Saves me time having to push the button to retrieve my target and push it again to send it back to 100. Especially on busy days when I have a max of an hour on a lane. I’d like to see the Yeti’s capability before trying to hunt with it even though they claim it has the ability within 300yds max. I’ll be doing a lot of testing with the 200gr FTX and if I can get any 180gr Speer hotcore bullets
That’s the beauty of what we can do as reloaders

picked upba nikon x1000
pretty nice scope
You will be very happy. I'm planning on getting 2 FX1000'a before Christmas for some longrange coyote hunting. I had multiple opportunities to put down some swine last week at 600+ yards but since it was the first week of deer season I opted to wait. I hope we'll see some pics soon?
