I love the effort. I really wish I had more wood working skills. I want to build a nicer bench.

My chaos makes sense to me.... but I'd love to make it more organized.

Mine’s only clean and organized because it’s still fresh. I’ll have it all muddled up in no time!

Yesterday I had some time as my wife got called into work. So I was just home playing around with some things and ended up putting a 34” LED shop light on the bench. It was a cheap light that had no great attachment method so I had to take it apart and screw it to the bench from the inside. It’s plenty bright now for some evening reloading sessions. I shortened the pull chain so I could get it out of the way of my press and then I added a little reloader’s touch for good measure.

I’ll tell you what is going to happen. At least what happened to me. Your new bench will be neat and organized, then you will decide you want a second press, then a case prep center, then a bench mounted priming tool, then a case trimmer, then a progressive press, and so on and so on. All along the way you will be collecting bullets, brass, tumblers, hand tools and dies sets. At that time it will be difficult if not impossible to be organized. Then you will come to realize you should have started with a small warehouse.
But seriously you are off to a great start and looking good.

Haha! Thank you, I know that would be easy to fall into that trap, but all my brass is stored in the little garage we have, and I’m planning to tumble out there as well. I have a second press but I will most likely put a universal decapping die in it, and keep that out in the garage. No progressive for me until we buy a house with a garage/shop. The trimming and prep center though is tempting! Like I said, I know myself well enough that I know it won’t stay this organized for long! I’ll be in the middle of too many reloading products in no time at all!
