The moon clips were certainly the problem. Haha. As tight as those are on the 357 mag cases I figured they would still hold the 380 and they don't. I had to put them in the moon clip head stamp down on a table and then put the revolver muzzle up and lower the cylinder down on the rounds. Then I slid a piece of paper under them to keep them from falling out when I upright the gun. But it worked.
According to Saami the 357 mag case is 0.005" larger diameter than the 380 ACP so they rattle in there and the cases would likely split upon firing as well as probably blow gas out the back of the cylinder into the shooters face.
