I have AA#2 and want to load up some of the 350 gr Xtreme bullets. The data stops at 335 gr. Any advice on what you would consider min and max for those 350's?

Do you have any data for 350gr jacketed bullets? A mid range jacketed load should be a safe place to start.

I don't. All my data stops at 335gr for AA#2. What data I do have they only use AA#2 for copper plated bullets and it is basically only the Rainier bullets. I'm assuming Berry's and Xtreme weren't around when the Lee's 2nd edition was released and Rainier doesn't make any bigger than 335 gr.

I’ve looked and I can’t come up with anything to help. Sorry. Maybe someone else will be able to help.

They do list this but it is just this one reduced load.

That 19.7gr load for the 350gr xtp, seems like it would be ok. It is less that the starting charge for the 335gr rainier hp, and velocity wise should be good with a plated bullet. That load would “probably” be safe, but if it were me, I would opt for a different powder more suitable for that big bullet and case.

Only have 100 of these bullets to test them out. I am shooting them from a rifle and max velocity is 1500 fps. That 19.7 gr will probably be over 1500 but I hear they hold up well.
If they don't hold up then I will stick with the Berrys bullets since they are rated for 2000fps. I just loaded up a bunch of 300 gr today and went to move on to the 350gr Xtreme. If I am pushing the 300gr Berrys too hard I'll have to step up to the 350gr Berrys but then I am back in the same boat. Though I could choose a different powder at that point.
The goal isn't to light load but to develop a low cost plinking round.

I have a couple boxes of Alexander Arms 350gr spitzer and thought it would be a fun round to reload. I contacted AA and asked them if they sold the 350gr spitzer projectile. I figured it was possible, since they had the load data for it on their website. They said, "The did not sell them" and they gave me no further info. I found the Lehigh Defense website and their projectile looked like the AA version. I ordered the Lehigh Defense 350gr Match Solid bullet. I did a pull down on an AA factory 350gr spitzer cartridge and compared it to the Lehigh Defense 350gr Match Solid bullet. The AA 350gr spitzer and the Lehigh Defense 350gr Match are one in the same. They also have a couple other bullets that seem interesting, especially the Xtreme Penetrator 350gr. They are a bit pricey, but then again you can load only so many 335gr Rainers, before you need to try some thing new.
I may have to look at what else Lehigh offers. I have a bunch of their Xtreme Penetrators and Xtreme Defense for my handguns though. For this rifle other than some lighter plinking rounds I am mostly interested in bigger bullets like 440gr, 500gr and I think I'll experiment a little with the 700's.
I ended up calculating the decrease in powder per increase in bullet weight for the load data I had and came up with something like 19.1-22.8 gr. I already look loaded them up and I'll watch fo pressure signs. My biggest concern is spinning the coating off these bullets though.

So I loaded up some 300gr Berrys and some 350 gr Xtremes. I had terrible results with the Berrys. Like so bad I was questioning if it was me. I had a large target set up at 100m and was struggling to put all 3 rounds on paper. After I finished with the 300's I loaded up 5 factory Underwood loads. 4 were pretty much touching in a line and I had 1 flier a few inches low.
Makes me wonder if it's a bad powder bullet combo or if I was deforming the bullets from the power behind them. All the holes in the paper looked normal and didn't seem to show signs of tumbling or coming apart but I think my best group was like 6" some were over 12" some were maybe even larger! I actually blew a primer out on the last round I shot and ceased the test so I have 6 rounds to pull.
With the 350gr Xtreme I moved the target to 50m. I shot great groups with them (at least compared to the Berrys). My worst groups were probably 4-5" and my better ones were maybe an inch. I think I actually blew 1 bullet up though. 1st shot on my 3rd to last group missed the whole damn target. I was pretty confused and looked closely in my spotting scope and saw small marks in the splatter target and a slit in the splatter target above that were new. The rest of the bullet shot fine though.
I shot 3 bullets at each load. The Series 1 is the 1st shot of each groups, 2 is the 2nd, 3 is the 3 and AVG is the average of the 3 shot groups.
