    That 19.7gr load for the 350gr xtp, seems like it would be ok. It is less that the starting charge for the 335gr rainier hp, and velocity wise should be good with a plated bullet. That load would “probably” be safe, but if it were me, I would opt for a different powder more suitable for that big bullet and case.

    Only have 100 of these bullets to test them out. I am shooting them from a rifle and max velocity is 1500 fps. That 19.7 gr will probably be over 1500 but I hear they hold up well.

    If they don't hold up then I will stick with the Berrys bullets since they are rated for 2000fps. I just loaded up a bunch of 300 gr today and went to move on to the 350gr Xtreme. If I am pushing the 300gr Berrys too hard I'll have to step up to the 350gr Berrys but then I am back in the same boat. Though I could choose a different powder at that point.

    The goal isn't to light load but to develop a low cost plinking round.
