    77 gr Nosler 5.56 load to replicate MK262

    I'm using LC 14 brass, CCI#41 primers with 23.5 grains of TAC under the nosler 77gr OTM. I'm getting around 2700 FPS at the muzzle in my 11.5 inch PWS MK111

    The only caution I would give with using TAC is that it can get scary when it’s warmed up. Leaving the rounds in a hot car or out in the sun on a hot day will definitely have an impact on P/V.

    If you want something more temp stable, CFE 223 is one to look at. Not the most temp stable powder out there but it’s safer then TAC and going to be closer to what is used in the Mil Spec round.
