Load for a bunch of calibers, but fixing to get started loading for a Remington 700 varmint in .308 Winchester. Loads in general, let's try to get some good load data going. I have about 7 308 rifles including AR-10, M1A, BAR, Bolt rifles and a Savage 99. I use H-4895 as my powder but the range of bullets vary 168 gr match for the M1A, 150 gr fmjbt for the AR-10 and 165 gr Nosler BT or Hornady SST for the hunting rifles.
Forum is still new and transitioning is slow.. but my rifle loves 168gr HPBTs over varget on the lower end of my charge weight. My rifle is a Savage model 12FV 26” 1:10 twist

My 168gr SMK's like 41.0 grains of RL15.
My Remington 700 tactical loves 168gr nosler custom competition hpbt with varget powder. I tore a rotator cuff before I could finish dialing it in. So my exact load isn't finished yet.
I have a savage 10FCP-SR as long as it’s a 168gr bullet it sends it great varget 45grs

My ar10 loved 175hr nosler sand 41.4gr or arcomp. 2.790
I'm working up some 168gn z max, varget with ladder from 42.0 gn, .2 tenth increments. 2.800 oal. I'll be shooting it from a howa 1500 with the axiom stock. Anyone else played with them or the A max/ Z max. Does anyone have a howa .308 that they've worked up a load yet.
