Could go full Gucci gun and go 260 ackley or 260 terminator. I'm getting 3055 with 140 rdfs. Plus Wes' GWT 260 brass is top notch stuff.

I say you would be good either way. No problem reaching 1000 with either. Both excellent hunting rounds. Just go whichever way your heart decides.

It is fun stretching out to see how well you and the rifle can do. Its the best way to learn your gun. I use to make shots with my pistols that most said you couldn't do with a pistol. For instance i was told you can't hit a 12x12 inch steel plate at 100 yards with a 22 pistol. Proved them wrong on multiple occasions.

Nice! I always attempt to hit my steel plates at 100yds with pistols. I don't smack the steel very often but it's possible. Especially with a real hot .357 mag load out of my model 66. [emoji16]

Now I haven't done it in years but I had gotten good enough back then to hit it every time. A cpl of us even loaded shot in our 45 lc's and shot a few skeet. Now that is tough and no I couldn't hit every one. We made a stand within axe head that held a skeet on either side and split a 22 to break both. We had a blast.

Unfortunately I got smart and married my first wife. She blew all the money leaving me not being able to afford to shoot. So now once I'm able to shoot again I'm gonna get back to shooting more. My wife has no problem with me buying the things i need to shoot. As long as the bills get paid I'm good to go.

I've been shooting for 30+ years and reloading for about 2 years now. I went through a real bad time with drugs and alcohol and came close to losing everything including my guns. I was fortunate enough to have a person keep my guns for me while I was homeless otherwise I would have sold them to feed my addiction. Shooting has always been fun/therapy for me and reloading is just as sweet. Can't wait for you to get back in the saddle again and get the much deserved trigger time! [emoji16]

Thanks me too. I'm glad you got straightened out. I got to the surgeon Tuesday and he's gonna order the MRI. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll get the surgery done. Then 6 months of recovery and physical therapy.
