Last week I ordered a cz scorpion evo. I’ve been wanting to get a 9mm and was tossed between building an ar9 or buying the freedom ordinance fx9. I’d end up 1500 into a ar9 just like my 45 and I’m not sold on the glock mags and feed ramps being so picky with what they want to feed. The fx 9 seemed to eat everything they gave it. It was about 750 local to me. Then I seen on gun broker the evo...kinda ugly...reviews good...feeds well...cheap mags. So 745 bucks and about 6 days later it showed up. As soon as I paid for it I started google foo. Found a lot of the common upgrades done to make it more user friendly. So I went to hb industries site, which happens to be local to me in Az, and ordered trigger springs, trigger,safety and charge handle. Then went to another and got the paddle mag release. Found a buffer tube adapter from Thordsen custom. Castle nut and bsa3 on sale from primary arms should be here today sometime got a vg6 gamma 9mm off eBay along with a padded carry case. Also got a trijicon mro and American defense low mount off ebay. Then I found a member on one of my facebook gun groups that had a lage folding adapter for 50 bucks shipped. I can’t stand it anymore and have to go back on shift tomorrow so I pulled a blade and buffer tube I had sitting out and screwed it on. Gonna go site irons in with some Wally World nato ammo I picked up. And then check how my reloads will do in it. Probably start up some old work for it. But I’d sure love it to shoot my reloads I have well enough.
