I have that identical sonic cleaner and use the lyman solution for brass.
Mostly I've decided it's not worth the hassle: run through several cycles, rinse, cook or air dry.
Tumble with walnut does a good enough job all on its own.
What the sonic is great at is cleaning AR bolt carrier groups.
I use warm water with a bit of non foaming dish washer soap added. Cleans the bcg down to bare metal.
Flush with hot water, oven dry, then lightly oil and good as new.

I dry tumble my brass. I wanted the sonic for gun parts and other stuff. Works awesome!
