Bought myself an early bday present and it showed up today. Couldn't get it installed quick enough!

How hard is it, these kits to build uppers lower ars in differant calibers? Some say have to have jig other things. I know cheaper building your own.

I was meaning the kits to build whole ar upper and lower.

How does the velocity compare with geissele triggers? The only aftermarket AR trigger I’ve got any experience with is the geissele. I have it in my 6.5grendel and love it. I’m curious just in case another AR ever happens to follow me home.

The guy that's behind Velocity worked for Timney triggers for a long time. So you have that. As far as the Geissele triggers go, I don't know that paying the extra money gives you extra trigger. I've been researching triggers for quite some time now and not one trigger in this class (3-4lb AR) is a hands down champ. I tend to lean towards what is the most common and why. Timney was what I was going to run until I ran across Velocity. Why spend nearly $100 more on something that does the same job... just my 2 cents. [emoji846]

That’s good info to know. I am all about saving a buck. When I bought mine, I caught it on a Black Friday special and got it $75 off, and it was “the trigger to have”, back then. I like the fact that the velocity is a drop in trigger, I may try one in my next AR.
