So then the hole size through which the primer charge ignites the powder plays no part in determining what size pistol primer to use, I guess?
You would have to deprime each case to determine what size primer is needed for that individual case?
Or is there some way to determine that without depriming first.
I have found Some of the primers in the case can be easily seen as being large and others as small and then some not so easily determined.
