If I have new or fire formed brass (from my rifle) do you just neck size? I see Lee has a 4 die set I'm looking into. I'm new to reloading this round.

You can just neck size. With the new brass I would full lenght size it first and the check your length. I have ran across new brass that was longer than it was supposed to be.

No problem.

I full length size all brass used in hunting rifles. I don’t ever want to run into a round that is too tight to chamber when the buck of a life time presents itself.
Full length size all hunting rounds. Not worth the chance of one not chambering when u need it.
I’m a neck sizer. I neck size new brass, and I neck size fire formed brass. I neck size my hunting ammo, but also check it for fit before I go out to use it. Neck sizing will extend your case life, because your brass is being worked as much. I full length brass that has been fired out of another rifle, is being loaded for an auto loader, or is getting tight to fit in the chamber. Try different things and find what works for you.
