    Great prize there.
About a year ago I looked into buying either Auto Ord or a Inland M1 carbine. I have always liked the way they looked and handled in the thick brush places that I venture out into, usually on a pre deer season scouting session.
With the right load,it's power is right in line with a 357 Mag 6". Not overpowered but ok for the <50yd shots that I usually take on surprised hogs and smaller NW Fla. deer. It is also a great truck gun or farm/ranch gun.
I had a Universal as a kid and killed quite a few critters with it.
At the age of 14,I walked into a hardware store, plunked down my $60.,and walked out with it. A couple of years later I used to take it to high school with me in my VW bug,so that I could hunt on the way home from school. One day the football coach saw it on the back seat as I was parking my car. He simply said,"make sure to keep your car locked on school property".
    WOW . . . how times have changed,huh. ---- SAWMAN
Why just dance when you can "rock and roll".

No doubt! All the farm boys at my High School had gun racks in their trucks and would hunt to and from school. No one thought s^*t about it. And the damn trucks were never locked...
