    What the hell happened here!?

Had one malfunction today. Went to clear it and the top portion of the spent round was jammed against the round trying to be chambered. Found the lower portion 5 feet away... [emoji848]

Never have had this happen. It's from my huge batch of target .223 I loaded.

Kinda freaked me out for a minute. I've had cases split at the mouth on both pistol and rifle but nothing like this.

300 blackout bolt action. Same thing. Tried to chamber the next round, wouldn’t go in.

So far I haven't had it happen yet. I've had split long ways and noticed one cracked part of the way around after picking it up.

Damn! I suppose we're lucky that only the brass was destroyed and not our rifles or our faces...

I suppose when you consider how many thousands of rounds I've fired one is bound to happen...

Had a guy come shoot with me a while back and he brought along his 44 mag Rossi lever gun. He said "man, I've been having to really pull up hard on the lever to chamber a shell and push real hard on the lever to eject a shell. Something is binding up in the lever I think". I took a look in the chamber and noticed immediately he had half of a case stuck in the chamber!
