Ah. Ok. Thanks for clarifying. My only experience with the 223ackley has been with a bolt gun, unsuppressed. Loved it on prairie dogs with 55gr ballistic tips.

NOW . . . ya'll got me thinking.
I have an "extra" NEF Handi Rifle chambered in 223Rem. This gun would be super easy to ream to AI. Will check on renting reamers.
Might be an interesting, after deer season, project. Load it up 'til the primers blow then back off .00001gr. Got plenty of brass and several hundred of them old NosBalTip's.
Whatdaya think . . . 4000 with a 40 ??? YEOWZA !! --- SAWMAN
Why just dance when you can "rock and roll".

I have heard that . . . however . . . I did not do that with my wifes older T/C Contender in 30-30AI though. Is there a difference between the two ?? --- SAWMAN

30-30 is different. The barrel does not need to be set back with it, because the shoulder is moved forward.
