Looking for recommendations for a spotting scope for 100 yards. Need to be able to see 223/556 holes clearly. Would like to be able to capture videos/pictures through it as well.

Spendy but I bought the 85mm Vortex Razor. So far I love it. Using a phone scope I put my S9+ using the 2x camera I get pretty good results.
Those are 30 cal holes at 100 meters.
The bull elk was well beyond what could be seen by the naked eye (and I'm still young with better than 20/20 eyesight). That bull was up on the cliffs in the 2nd pic.
I have some cool slow motion vids where I was actually able to see some 30-06 and 500 Automax rounds moving through the air at 100 and 200 meters but I'm not sure how to post a vid here...

I uploaded a couple more. Not sure if I missed a setting somewhere but they appear to be a little fuzzier than on my phone.

I got a great deal on a Hawke from Cameraland NY. It was on sale for like $149. I just wanted something reasonable. I had great experiences with Hawke scopes so I jumped on one of their scopes. You can give them a ring and talk to Doug. He really knows his stuff and can help you out.
The Athlon Talos is 150$ at Midway and a great deal. You'll be able to see shots on paper well past 3-400 yards and it has a lifetime warranty. I love mine for the money and everyone that's looked through it comments on the clarity.
I'm using the barska 125x spotting scope. I picked it up to help with sight in day at my shooting club. Wanted to get something that I wouldnt go berserk if someone accidentally bumped it. I have used it to spot out to 500 yards plan to try it out to 1000 this spring. It's not the best and it's not the clearest glass I've seen but I'm pretty happy for under $200. The scope and a thrift store camera tripod have served me pretty well over the past 7-8 years.
