Daypack Recommendations

I'm going on a Montana elk/mule deer hunt this November and I'm looking for recommendations for backpack/daypacks. I put on a lot of miles and I'm specifically looking for a pack that will also carry a rifle/built in scabbard. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Mystery ranch makes some quality packs. We get issued them and they hold up great.
