    PC'd 45/70

I recently had a 1895CB in .45/70 follow me home.

The new mold came today and I couldn't wait.

If I'm not mistaken, this was my first casting session in over a year. About a rear and two weeks ago, I stowed my pot and everything with Hurricane Irma bearing down on us.

I just got the Lee 405gr fn for now. I can see myself getting a lighter gas checked mold actually.

I have to slug it still then open my sizing die up. I have a feeling that .457 is too small.

I need to order brass from Wes, by I'm kinda waiting until I get a ship notification for my dies first. 20180927_210226.jpeg

I mic'd them last night and it's not promising.

They're casting under sized. I'm going to have to lap the mold out some.

So far I haven't had that problem. But I'm betting it will.
