Good to hear man!! Gonna drive home and see my family this weekend so I’ll look forward to your results while I wait until next weekend (hopefully)
Might have to give the 208gr bullets a try after this testing is done [emoji848]

Have fun with the family! I’ve heard of people getting good results with the 208gr eld-m. If I can get the 200 to shoot well, I’m going to stick with it, and try hunting with it.

So was loading up some of the 200gr eld-x with IMR4064, and ran into a little snag. My rifle’s chamber was cut with a Palma reamer, so it has a really short throat. When I tried to seat the bullets to the depth I wanted/needed, the powder was compressed so much that my seating depths were very erratic. I’m still going to shoot them but don’t have high hopes for accuracy. I’m going to load some with CFE223, hoping a ball powder will give me some more space for bullet seating.

My max COAL with the 200gr eld-x is 2.749”. All the ones I loaded with 4064 are going to be .001-.003” into the lands. Going to load some with cfe223 tonight. Fingers crossed.

Finally got to the range with my seating depth test. Looks like 20 thou off the lands with this load is the winner! Four shot groups at 100 yards
