Anyone ever swap out the motor in a Dillon Cv2001 tumbler? This one is bad. Dillon wants over $100 to replace it themself but I'm sure there is a cheaper option.

This isn't Facebook - I couldn't care less about what you're eating.
Been there done that. I still have 2 Dillons and when they wear out they're gone. I've got 5 Tumblers. 2 RCBS, 2 Dillons and 1 Lyman 2500. My original 2 RCBS had some 5 or 6 motors quit. Called RCBS and they would send me new motors no charge. When RCBS came out with their new revised tumbler RCBS told me to send my 2 back. My cost for postage. Received 2 NEW RCBS revised tumblers at no charge. Have yet to have a problem. Midway at the moment has the RCBS tumblers on sale for around $60. Going to order 2 and replace the Dillons. Great machines. Crappy tumblers.
I looked for motors for them for a bit, but could never find one that would work.
I even called the motor manufacturer, and they have a contract with Dillon and won't sell the motors.
I just ended up getting a few new tumblers all together
That seems to be the common theme I've read online from other pages. Just scraps at this point...

Yea, it sucks to have to do it that way, but they are good tumblers and last quite awhile for the cost
