The 6mm br is a pretty good round for most all practical applications. Lapua brass runs around 85-90$ per 100 pieces. Far as accuracy the records and matches that the round has one speak for its self. The only short comings of the round are that it really can’t push the 105gr+ bullets over 3000, but unless your planing on shooting a lot at 1000-1200 yards that’s not really an issue. The br can get the 90-95gr bullets around 3050fps and they do well at 1000 yards too. Barrel and brass life is pretty good and it doesn’t burn much more powder than a standard 223 rem. Biggest thing to watch out for is taht lapua and Norma both make brass for a 6mm br but both companies use different case designs. The lapua is the standard reamer print any more so it’s the most common. I’ve heard Norma brass can be made to work in a lapua chamber but it takes a lot of work to the brass and Norma tends to not last as long as lapua and is more expensive. The biggest downside to it I feel Is that sometimes it can get hard to find lapua brass instock, easy solution is buy a few hundred cases when you find and your set. Hope this helps,
Rev.
