I prefer whatever targets the range has and the little 1” orange dots. I don’t see a need for special targets when I can place however many dots wherever I want. Just me though
An armed society is a polite society
I use 1" grid targets that I get at the range for about .50c. They have dots in 4 corners, and one in the center, they grid lines.
My range doesn't have or sell targets, I have used the orange dots but apparently I have a issue seeing orange because they just look like a fuzzy orangish splotch on the target to me.
I use the 1" grid targets currently in b&w and guess I'll stick with them. Just checking out what others use.
I like the grids for sighting in and the Zombie for plinking.
I use these after my full silhouette target is dead.

I like to use graph paper as a backer. A pack is cheap at an office store, Walmart, etc. If you need a larger backer, you can staple/tape as many together as you need.
The 1/4" grid makes measuring groups and dialing up sight/scope adjustments easy.
I use pasters as my center. Or you can fill in squares in the graph paper with a marker.
I use the 1” grid targets that have a big diamond in the center with crosshairs ( top, bottom, left and right ) and it has the 4 smaller diamonds in the corners.
