True, I was thinking since the specs are exactly the same except for the fact it's a
.223 Wylde barrel that there wouldn't be a huge change... the three shot groups (not pictured) with 55gr fmjbt were awesome. Should have put some more of those down range but between this terrible head and chest cold and the less than stellar results I threw the towel in... [emoji57]

Yeah that'd definitely make shooting not your main focus. As far as barrels. A friend if mine bought a gun apiece. They were identical. One liked one bullet and powder and the other was a different bullet and powder. Barrels and guns can be the same but so different.

    Much better results today!
After Monday's pitiful range time I put together some new loads to see if I could tighten things up a bit.
I noticed after Monday's results that 25.3gns of H335 pushing a 50gr Zmax was showing no signs of pressure so I ramped up the charge a bit. Tightened things up nicely!

Also did some testing with Shooters World Precision Rifle powder.
This was the best result so far.
Time to load up another test batch.

Yup. This was the last 5 out of my test batch. I started at 23.0gns and worked up to 25.0gns.

I should mention the Shooters World test was with Hornady 55gr fmjbt.
