I have a Savage Axis that I want to reload for. I'm looking for suggestions for a good all around deer and varmint bullet and loads. Thanks. -Troy

I use speer #1220 or #1222 and never had any issues.
For deer I like the 100gr Nosler partition with RL22. My favorite varmint bullet is the 87gr hornady vmax with h414.

95 or 100 grain Nosler Partition have done in many a whitetail for me, I have always loaded them over IMR 4350.
Thanks for the replies, keep them coming! [emoji16]

I had a lot of luck with Nosler 70gr and IMR 4064.... never used them for deer... just varmints
95 Nosler ballistic tips on top of H4350 is my go to. Have also had good luck on deer with 85 Barnes TSX.

Mounted my budget scope last night. Used a DNZ medium scope mount. Getting close. Thanks for the replies gentlemen!

Getting close. Keep us posted on what bullets, powder, etc. you use, and results too.

I also use an axis for coyotes and deer occasionally. It came with 5 boxes of Winchester varmintX in 58 grain. The bullet performs great on yotes. But I cannot figure out who makes the bullet. For reloaded rounds nosler 80gr ballistic tip is my go to.
