I recieved one of these today in some bulk brass I got from wes. Done some digging and found its parent case is a 284 Winchester. My question is if I were tempted to buy a pistol chambered in 475 wildey could I use scrap 284 brass to convert to 475 wildey? I know It would depend on the condition of the case and case head separation signs. But what case life expectancy could I look for using scrap brass that has split necks etc.? Or would it not be worth the trouble.
