Cody I'd also get a dimple jig and dimple the barrel. Gas blocks can move out of alignment and cause malfunctions. Pinning is overkill, but atleast dimple it.

Nothing. Armorers wrench is all you need. Make sure you torque the barrel nut to specs and you should be good. Sometimes the delta ring can be a pain in the ass tho to get off if you have one.
I picked up a Bear Creek arsenal 16" .223 Wylde barrel (1:9) and want to swap out my factory barrel on my S&W M&P Sport 15.
The factory barrel is also 16" and 1:9 twist.
Is there any particular things I need to be concerned with swapping barrels?
