Right at base of bullet is about where the scoop put the 44 mag. I used the black powder measure for the 45/70 and backed it off to 65 grains by volume using 405 grain bullet for example. But ya...

Load by volume not weight with black powder I use the Lyman scoop that comes with the does one scoop per shell 3f or P pyrodex works well

Yes I have starline just said brass may be to hard to seal but pistol you can do it it is a mess I I had the Lyman die and scoop scoop of powder and seat the bullet [emoji6] 3f or proxidex pistol...
