Can't say for sure that it's the shooter, but it sure isn't the rifle or the ammo. The barrel warming after three shots can open up a group some, but 1in. to 1.5in. is an MOA+ spread from the first...
Unlike the Judge handgun, there is no rifling in that .410 barrel. If you were to find a cartridge that would actually fire from that chamber, it'd likely tumble within a few yards and who knows...
So I loaded up 6ea. Adjusting micrometer for each round to achieve an identical measurement to the ojive and the others by setting the die for the first round and leaving it set for the other five....
I purchased a Forster set of dies for my .223Rem loads and couldn't get a satisfactory answer to the following question on another forum. I'm hoping you guys can help out.
I load to .005 off the...
Looking to purchase a small quantity of .223 Rem Lapua brass. for load comparison to the present brass that I'm using. I can't bring myself to spend the $$$ on 50-100pcs. without knowing how it...
Yea, I did it.
168gr .308Win 15ft from the muzzle. Good clean centered shot. Anyone here ever bag one with a big caliber?
For .223, I've been using the Forster FL and micrometer seating dies. Love that seating die.
I Absolutely love that bullet out to 300yrds. I don't know what rifle/caliber you shoot, but 25.0gr Varget CCI #400 Fed. brass= 2836fps with a SD of 7 out of my Savage .223 avg. five shot group...
I don't recall the starting load for the Hornady FMJC, but my current load is 25.6gr Varget and I know that is on the lower end. 2835fps, but that's out of a bolt action 1.9 22in. barrel
I use TiteGroup behind 124gr Hornady HP and 147gr XTPs. It's the only powder I've used since I started loading for my nines.
Shot my first last week. Perfect shot, too. Smack dab in the middle of the screen. First shot after switching rifles..............Lesson learned
When I first began loading for pistols, I had the same thing happen without the gun attempting to go into battery. I knew exactly what happened. I changed the steps of reloading on my single stage,...
For a basic K&M set up, you can go with a steel pilot in what ever caliber desired, carbide cutter, and the body for about $85 and extra pilots for whatever caliber you choose. You'll also need a...
I assume that you're talking trimming TTL and not turning the necks. If you do large lots of brass at a time, get one with a power adapter. If not, most brands do the job. I like my Lyman, but if...
