You will have fun. I'm currently waiting on my WOA 24" match barrel to get here so I can build my new one. It should be here on Monday, then the fun starts.
Nice!! Got the lower done. [emoji846]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f5f894f367.jpg

Looking good. I haven't started yet on mine. Will do the upper first so I can bed the barrel and let it set while I do the lower. Give it a few days to cure then put the upper and lower together so I can mount and zero optics and get ready for load development.
Will do.
Nice.....
Mine is the the 1:8 twist optics match. Very excited to see how it's gonna perform.
Yes, I use loctite 620 to bed it. Variances in parts can allow for slight gaps and play between barrel and receivers, some tighter than others and even needing thermal fitting. I took one of my plinker 18" ARs and used it as an experiment since the best I could get from it was usually around 1.3" with handloads. There was some play between the barrel and receiver before tightening the barrel nut. I believe that Lil gap causes the barrel to shift slightly when firing. So I used loctite 620 to fill the gap, let it sit for a few days, then took it back to shoot. Groups went from 1.3"-2" size down to around the .65-.7" range with some being smaller. This was with a cheap barrel since it was a plinker. So I'm sold that filling the gap between the barrel and receiver actually does work. Will be doing it on all future builds and the others I already have.
Finished the build this morning. Passed the function test with zero issues. [emoji16]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...70e72432e4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cd03081b64.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...848d0a4cbd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...33f6c647a0.jpg

Looks good! The one thing I have done with all of mine is to change the hand grip to rubberized Magpul and now I use a Hogue grip for the last couple.
That’s awesome ... I’d love to look over someone’s shoulder doing a build. Understanding all the nuances ... good luck on functionality and accuracy.
Got the new build out to the range today. Shot and functioned perfectly! [emoji16]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...85b1f1f3df.jpg

Sorry for the delay in posting, got really busy with work and family so haven't had time to keep up. Here are some pics as requested. Took it to the range yesterday on lunch break to get it sighted in on paper and test function. Everything worked smooth & flawlessly. I shot a 10 rd group using some 62gr FMJBT plinking rounds I had loaded up for another rifle so I didn't expect much since it wasn't loaded for this one's chamber. It still produced roughly a 1 inch 10 shot group. Load development will start this weekend if the weather holds up. Will put better glass on it later this year, but for now this will do.. got vacation coming up so need to have some cash flow for that lol.

Thank you sir!
Excellent. Nice looking unloader dude!
Finally had a chance to try some of the new LC17 Nickel brass I got from Wes. Sadly he doesn't carry the Nosler 60gr BT Varmints, so had to order some from somewhere else. These have been the only Nosler bullets I've ever gotten to shoot decently. Loaded them up with some Fed 205M primers, AR Comp powder, and a light crimp. The brass only needed trimming, neck sizing to remove the dings, and wet tumbling. I can only imagine the 77smk will shoot slightly better as they always do in every AR I've ever owned. For now, these will be for coyote since that is what I built it for.

I’ve departed getting a lead sled [emoji848] but I’m QUICKLY out growing my apartment so it’ll have to wait [emoji28] I’d like to see how well my guns shoot without a dummy like me messing up shots!
It has been rainy and windy here a lot lately. Today was more wind than I'd like to have when doing load development. Forgot my rear bag so was using bipod and my hand rested on ammo box for rear support. That was awkward feeling but I survived. Def not gonna forget my rear bag next time!
Damn I noticed auto correct jacked up “debated”..
I normally shoot sitting in an office type chair (no wheels) using a bipod and rear bag. My range is indoor and the windows are up high so I can’t lie down and standing fatigues me too quickly. It’s also a bear to get to where the actual range area is so carrying a lead sled, rifle cases and my ammo bag is a tall order! Very tight spaces
I picked up Lead Sled Solo by Caldwell. Amazon had them on sale. Also picked up a portable shooting table so I don't have to lay on the ground anymore (getting to old for that crap...)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3cdc6adad1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6ed25eab2b.jpg
