Yes, you can see .22 cal holes at 100 yards. Mtnwkr mentioned Athlon. I like their products too. Cameraland NY also carries Athlon. I have bought their products too. Both Hawke and Athlon are great products for the $$$.

I have read a lot of both products from British guys. I haven't delved into checking where either company is located. Maybe they are British. Hawke started out making scopes for springer air rifles. Those will beat H out of scopes. So, they make a very solid scope. One of my friends turned me onto Athlon. He really liked them and shot some great groups with them so I picked one up and like it. Haven't actually shot it a ton though. :)
