- Never really grew up around guns even in a military family, became interested in the USN, and learned I was a pretty fair shot. Been collecting and shooting pretty much ever since. Got interested in reloading after rotator cuff surgery about 15 years made it painful to shoot larger calibers, and Wes taught me how to make reduced recoil 30-30 rounds that didn't hurt (as much). I've now got the means to make a bit more than half a dozen calibers, and I enjoy the time away from a computer screen, I find reloading contemplative and relaxing.
